Leisure Palace (in simplified Chinese兴庆宫) was located outside the Tang Guo Xingqing City Square, and there was the garden of Xuanzong Emperor. On the first year of his Emperor life (AD 712), the emperor was on the throne, and in Kaiyuan year (AD 714 years), he changed the name of the palace to the one at present. After expansion of the palace, it became a very great structure covering up to 2016 acres, more than China’s largest, most complete set of buildings, the Palace Museum of the Ming and Qing Dynasties area (1087 acres).

Tang Dynasty around the palace had a total of six gates at the main entrance of Western Cape, known as Xingqing door, and now, Nankai of the Palace to the gate at the Tang Dynasty Yang called the door. From the overall layout of view, there is a east-west between the wall of the palace, putting it divided into two halves, while the south half of the garden for the most beautiful scenery. There are long-tang, Changqing Temple, Aquilaria Pavilion, Hua Porella meet floor and pro-Chief of the floor, such as tall buildings, surrounded by clear water and the Longchi, Hu-Guang floor color will be like fairyland. Legend Xilongchi had substantial lotus plant, water chestnut and a variety of algae Implicit Hua plants, pool south bank also has to re-awake drunken hangover of grass.

At the northern half of towering palaces, there are Nanxiong Hall Changhsingian Temple, Datong Billy Hall of subduction, is different, unique. The palace at Tang at 1958 on the construction site was changed into the largest park in Xi’an – Leisure Palace Park. The design not only inherited the tradition of our national style, but also absorbed the foreign art of the characteristics of gardening.

It was really a quite special palace in Xi’an. As we know, not many dynasties had chosen Xi’an as the capital and therefore, the number of palaces in this province is not many. If you are interested in visiting palaces and you are going to travel to Xi’an, you should not miss the chance to visit this palace.
